A consciousness are divided into ¡®general consciousness¡¯ and ¡®pure consciousness(puru?a)¡¯ in the Yoga philosophy. ¡®General consciousness¡¯ is a combination of mind. There are three types of general consciousness, that is sensuous consciousness(manas), selfish consciousness(aha?k?ra), and intellectual consciousness of material(citta)/and intellectual consciousness(buddhi). evolution. If the ¡®general consciousness¡¯ is active, there is an attribute(gu?a), and the evolution(pari??ma), on the other hand, the pure consciousness is passive, has no attributes, and does not change. ¡®Sensuous consciousness¡¯, ¡®selfish consciousness¡¯ and ¡®intellectual consciousness¡¯ are all consciously transformed from the fundamental material principle(m?la-prak?ti), so it is not ¡®pure consciousness(puru?a)¡¯. This ¡®general consciousness¡¯ is converted to ¡®pure consciousness¡¯ through various stages of practice(abhy?sa) and leaving greed(vair?gya). Therefore, ¡®pure consciousness¡¯ is mainly used for puru?a. Asa?prajn?ta-sam?dhi(ÙíßÌß²ØÜ) can be obtained through practice and ¡®highest leaving greed(para-vair?gya)¡¯. ¡®Intellectual consciousness¡¯ is liberated by experiencing ¡®pure consciousness¡¯, and even when the latent forces(sa?sk?ra) arising from ¡®perfect wisdom to obtain sam?dhi¡¯ are suppressed, nirb?ja-sam?dhi(Ùíðúíß²ØÜ) is realized. Dharmamegha-sam?dhi(Ûöê£ß²ØÜ) appears when the 'pure consciousness' is in the state of ¡¯highest leaving greed(para-vair?gya), which is deviated from the three attributes trigu?as).
