Abstract

|
본 연구는 병원에 근무하는 간호사가 지각하는 사회적 지지, 건강증진행위와 간호업무성과 간의 관계를 알아보고 사회적 지지 및 건강증진행위가 간호업무성과에 미치는 영향을 파악하여 간호업무성과 향상을 위한 기초자료를 제공하고자 시도하였다. 연구결과, 사회적 지지와 건강증진행위의 두 변수가 모두 간호업무성과에 유의한 영향을 미쳤는데, 구체적으로는 사회적 지지의 하위영역인 정서적 지지와 건강증진행위의 하위영역인 대인관계가 간호업무성과에 유의한 영향을 미쳤다. 이러한 정서적 지지와 대인관계 영역은 서로 밀접한 관계를 가지고 있다고 볼 수 있는데, 간호사가 근무 부서에서 상사 및 동료와 신뢰적인 관계 속에서 다양한 상황에 대해 진정한 사랑과 관심, 칭찬, 격려 및 위로를 상호 관계에서 주고받는 관계가 간호업무성과를 향상시키는 데 기여할 수 있다고 보며, 병원 간호사의 대인관계 및 정서적 지지를 증진시킬 수 있는 프로그램 개발이 필요하다.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the predicting factors of nursing work performance.
Methods: The participants in this study were 148 nurses working in S university hospital in P city. The scales included social support, health promoting lifestyle profile-Ⅱ (HPLP-Ⅱ), and nursing work performance. A descriptive analysis and stepwise multiple regression were used for data analysis.
Results: Significant correlations were found among social support, health promotion behaviors and nursing work performance. The significant predictive factors of nursing work performance were the emotional support subscale of social support (β=.31, p<.001) and the interpersonal relations subscale of health promotion behaviors (β=.32, p<.001). These two subscales explained 27% of nursing work performance.
Conclusion: Nursing education programs should include an emphasis on developing methods of emotional support and interpersonal relations in order to improve nursing work performance among clinical nurses.
